Week 6, Day 1
I started Week 6 on Wednesday. The Day 1 program is 5 min run/3 min walk/8 min run/5 min walk/5 min run. Plus warm up and cool down of course. For whatever reason, this day was not a good running day. It was so much harder to me than the 20 minute run from Week 5. I suppose you can have good and bad running days, but seriously, I was so happy when this one was over!! I wasn’t sore the next day or anything, I think it just wore me out. On to Day 2 - probably not until Sunday or Monday though. I have lots to do in the next few days!
I did my usual upper body workout with free weights yesterday morning. My biceps hate me today. I upped one exercise to the 10 lb weights and now today I am regretting that decision. Who knew the jump from 6 to 10 lbs would be so difficult? Apparently my biceps knew that.

What did you eat? If you do’nt eat right, the same run or ride can be 10 times harder. I found that out the hard way a few times on long bike rides.
You have to have fuel for your heart, lungs and legs!
